WHO ARE WE

Castaway Cove Events is a community led, non-profit organisation based in the North West, dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space for adults to enjoy play, nostalgia and meaningful connection.We believe that there is no "age limit" on having fun. Whether it is hitting the soft play, revisiting shows we loved as kids, or just finding a space where you can be yourself without judgement, Castaway Cove Events is here to provide that "off-switch" from the stresses of adult life.

Our Mission

Our goal is simple: to build a safe, supportive and accessible space to high energy environments where adults can reconnect with the power of play. We believe that community wellbeing thrives when we trade the stresses of daily life for the joy of childhood wonder. Through curated, judgement-free play experiences, we foster genuine connection, reduce adult anxiety and build a supportive, inclusive community where it is always okay to just be yourself.

RULES

* Strictly Ages 18+ ONLY! Valid Photo ID (such as driving license or passport) will be required at the door to gain entry to the venue.* No hate speech. Full stop. If you break this rule, you will be banned. Everyone is welcome. (This covers but not limited to:
Racism/Xenophobia
Homophobia
Transphobia
Biphobia
Religious Identity
Misogyny or Gender Bias
Ableism
If you experience or see any of this happening to another participant, let staff know and we will deal with it.)* We want everyone to feel included and comfortable. While we cater to all communities, we operate a strict 'keep it discreet' policy. Any specialized padding or undergarments must be completely and neatly hidden beneath your mandatory outer clothes (like trousers) at all times during the event space as best as possible. We will allow slight wardrobe malfunctions where peaking may happen, and we understand, but try your best, please.* We want you to have fun. That stands within reason. No bullying, drama, fighting etc in the event space. You will be asked to leave.* Strictly no outside alcohol or substances inside the venue. Anyone appearing overly intoxicated or acting unsafely will be asked to leave for their safety and others.* To prevent friction burns on the large slides or any of the other equipment, full length trousers/joggers and socks are mandatory to play on the frames. Long sleeved tops are also highly recommended. No sharp objects, belts or badges are allowed on the equipment.* If you need assistance from a member of staff, find someone wearing a Castaway Cove Events Staff/Volunteer T-shirt and we will come and help you out as much as we can.* WARNING: Frames will only accommodate up to 21 stone (133 Kilos) and no further!Have Fun!

Event Agenda

8:00PM - 8:15PM
Introduction and Safety Briefing
This is the chance to get everyone into the event and give our safety briefing on how to handle equipment and let you know exactly how we operate your safety.8:15PM - 8:30PM
Game 1 | Infected
A player is chosen to be "infected". Everyone else must run away. If a person is tagged by the infected, they are now also infected. Last player standing wins.8:30PM - 8:50PM
Game 2 | TBA
This will be announced before each event. Games include Capture The Flag, Keepy Uppy, Hide & Seek: Ghost In The Graveyard, Blind Sniper, Cardo Delivery Race and The Slide Speed-Run Championship.8:50PM - 9:00PM
Mandatory Rehydration Break
This is a MANDATORY rehydration break. Players are free to tap out at any point in the games or Free Play to rehydrate, but this is a non-negotiable rehydration break and you MUST take ten minutes to grab some water and chill down.9:00PM - 9:30PM
Free Play
This is your half an hour free spot to do as you wish during the event. Go run around and have fun!9:30PM - 9:55PM
Wind-down and Social
This is the mandatory wind down period as the night begins to close. Ensure you have not lost anything and feel free to chat among other attendees and make new friends!9:55PM - 10:00PM
Farewells
This is our goodbye period. We will be making a small speech at the end before letting you all leave to go home.
